I have had many mechanics over the years and this one is the best ever. I had gotten price ranges from $2,000 to over $3,000 for gaskets/valves/tune up/water pump/timing chain. With MW Auto Service, it was all for $865! That is quite a savings compared to what others are willing to take me for. Miguel will show you what he pays for parts, everything, and he does not hide the cost in the labor. He also guarantees his work, if ever a problem. We had so many bad experiences and even one time paid almost $1550 on two mufflers, one pipe, and two front structs that Miguel would have done for $425! I do not like throwing money away! Miguel is working on getting a 2nd bay. There is no place for a customer to wait but he drove me to where I needed to be that day, and well, do you want to pay 2x or 3x or 4x too much and get it done at a dealership with high overhead or do you want to save enough money that could cover your next vacation. I will take the vacation any day! Also, right next to the place is a highly toted pizza place, a Subway, and lots of places to sit and eat and wait, for that matter. Miguel is also a Master ASE Certified Mechanic. He may have a bit of an accent but he's very honest and one of the best mechanics you can find. As I indicated, the hard part is getting in line. His services are in great demand and this is by word of mouth alone... that's amazing! Believe me when I say, most repair shops mark up the price of the parts to high heaven, sometimes by 4x, and this is how they make extra money. If the repair place doesn't show you or refuses to show the receipt of the parts, you can rest assured the part has been blown up in price. This way, they don't have to show you the real profit they are making on you. Best to buy the parts and go to 3 places to get the best labor price. Of course, dealerships and repair places with large overhead don't operate this way. MW Auto Service LLC is where I am getting all my work done for my Subaru Forester X and my Subaru Outback Legacy LL Bean from now on!
